This next year, I (Floortje Zonneveld) will have the unique opportunity to join the Arctic Nature Guide study program on Svalbard (Spitsbergen). This program is offered through the Arctic University of Norway. Through knowledge and experience, joining expeditions, exploring glaciers, crossing the Arctic Ocean, I will learn almost all there is to know about guiding in the Arctic climate and nature. For the first time ever, I’ll live on an island far out in the Arctic, midway between the Norwegian mainland and the North Pole.
On this website and through Instagram I want to share my stories, in photography and film. Let’s make the Arctic part of your imagination and a place to be longing for in the best of ways.
